Quality

As dietitians, we must continue to go into everything that happens in the field of nutrition with great depth. We do this, among other things, by updating our professional literature, but also by following courses. You can think of lectures from academics, day symposia, implementation of new clinical guidelines, multi-disciplinary working arrangements in the practice.
In addition, we’ve followed a number of Post HBOs, such as Post HBO stomach-bowel-liver, Kidney diseases, Eating and drinking disorders, Parkinson's, Food allergies.
We’re a member of the Dutch Association of Dietitians.

We’ve all followed the Motivational Interviewing training. This allows us to guide you well in clarifying your motivation and removing barriers that you feel/see.
Finally, we supervise 4th year Nutrition & Dietetics students with their paramedical internship. This allows us to transfer our knowledge and skills to the next generation of colleagues. The trainees can also give us feedback about our working method.

The quality register records once whether a paramedic meets the training requirements of the BIG Act (Professions in individual health care). Subsequently, it’s registered periodically (every five years) whether a paramedic is in the loop of new knowledge and experience. The registered paramedic will only keep his or her quality registration if the requirements set by the profession are met.
The Quality Register can be viewed by everyone, from (potential) patients to health insurers and fellow practitioners. Required for this are the KP number (registration number) or the name with the date of birth. Patients are free to ask their practitioner for the KP number.
